Work for a world leader in the logistics industry as a Business Development Executive. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of this role is to market the company’s product and service offerings to new clients.
What you will be doing:
- Identify market opportunities, generate leads and prospects
- Develop and maintain active pipeline with prospects
- Prepare proposals, profiles, presentations and estimates
- Sell full logistics package to new clients
- Manage client relationships
- Manage the territory efficiently
- Analyse competitor activity
- Update client records on CRM
- Business development reporting
Requirements needed to be successful:
- Strong knowledge of the 4PL logistics industry
- Proven track record of new business sales in business to business segment and meeting sales targets
- Relate well to customers and ensure delivery of great products and services
