Work for a world leader in the logistics industry as a Business Development Executive. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of this role is to market the company’s product and service offerings to new clients.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Identify market opportunities, generate leads and prospects
  • Develop and maintain active pipeline with prospects
  • Prepare proposals, profiles, presentations and estimates
  • Sell full logistics package to new clients
  • Manage client relationships
  • Manage the territory efficiently
  • Analyse competitor activity
  • Update client records on CRM
  • Business development reporting

 

Requirements needed to be successful:

  • Strong knowledge of the 4PL logistics industry
  • Proven track record of new business sales in business to business segment and meeting sales targets
  • Relate well to customers and ensure delivery of great products and services

 

The successful incumbent will receive a lucrative remuneration package as well as an attractive performance bonus.
