Our client, a leader in the Events Services industry, is looking for a confident and results driven Key Account Manager. Your main deliverable is to drive sales and business development activities, meeting targets and offer client service and quality products. Accountable to manage key customers in respective market segments and maintain long-term relationship with accounts to maximise sales opportunities.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and analyzing client requirements
  • Defining markets and competitors
  • Monitoring competitor’s solutions and sales activities
  • Prospecting, actively driving and generating new business
  • Meeting sales targets and developing a sales pipeline
  • Monitoring sales implementation, revenue and profitability
  • Ensuring client satisfaction on each project
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Cross-selling and up-selling
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients to foresee new opportunities

 

To be successful you will need to:

  • Have a post matric qualification (Diploma or Degree) in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Customer Relationship Management or any other related field
  • Have a minimum five years management experience in a sales and/or business development capacity with a good track record of results in a similar role
  • Have technical/solution selling skills
  • Be able to identify ways of growing the business further
  • Have budgeting and financial skills
  • Have strong networking, presentations and communication skills
