A former high school Biology and Phys Ed teacher, she soon was attracted into the world of business and crafted a successful sales focused career. Not long after she moved to Cape Town, she took up the role as GM in a well-respected financial labour broking firm in Cape Town and later as GM of an advertising and response management business. A recent Organisational Psychology graduate, Nurunisa has a strong passion for people in the workplace. This passion grew through her studies which focused on understanding the needs of both employees and organisations, and how to optimise the performance of both. In her final year of studies, she worked part-time with a national retailer, Exclusive Books. She spent her time there learning the business and adding value to the recruitment strategy and process. She did this by designing and implementing a competency-based interview guide. Nurunisa would like to hone her skills and develop her career to become a global head hunter.
